Why use Posterous for use with PSP's?...

After a few tests with different systems I found that posterous provides a nice clean view on a psp especially if you keep the content simple and avoid the various media types etc. The main tip is to make the post titles as self-explanatory as possible as the initial view shows just the titles.

So anyway the main point and purpose here is that typing url's on a psp is a bit of a pain and so it's really useful to have a quick way of sharing existing and new links with a group and even easier if you can do so by email!

So I've set-up this additional posterous site (I already have a posterous site so it's easy to add others) for when I'm delivering mobile learning training related to the psp and specicifically to share links to view on the psp and/or to share links to psp related tools and resources to view on a PC. So wherever a link or resources is psp related but not really viewable on a psp it's been tagged accordingly.

On a psp it's relatively easy to add http://psplinks.posterous.com/ as a favourite and then any links posted here can just be clicked rather than having to be typed on the psp - much quicker much easier!

Sending it to an address in this format means any autoposting to twitter or other blogs doesn't happen. Whereas sending to post@ would also complete any autoposting.
